Trending paint colours you’re going to see everywhere this year

As I’ve been making moodboard with different colour schemes I taken a closer look at the new colour chart 2020 from Jotun Lady.

So if you’ve missed this intriguing colour inspiration here’s a chance to enjoy these delicate and trending colours.

It makes me want to paint all the surfaces in my house in those subtile, yet deep tints.

Colours Trends 2020 by Jotun

LADY 7637 Exhale

I’m really falling for that airy mint green wall colour in these first two pictures, which is so perfectly styled – Loving this look.

Reminiscent of a spring sky, this powdery green is perfect to calm the senses. It’s use is certainly not limited to nursery rooms.

Its beauty is that it works for all age groups! Think of this colour as a canvas for decor and work it!

LADY 11173 Humble Yellow.

This year, we are going to see a rise in colours that are associated with optimism, positivity and happiness.

For those who love to introduce a pop of colour in their interiors, this is one of those wall paint colours that is just right.

This colour highlights decor and art brilliantly, without a lot of effort.

LADY 4863 Statement Blue

This is the deep, almost Prussian blue of the ocean in the Bahamas at low tide, and when you combine it with coral-coloured fabrics, it’s amazing.

It vibrates in a wonderful way. If you’re doing a home anywhere near the sea or you simply want to remember the sea, this is the colour to go with.

Statement Blue has endless depth, and that makes it very calming. I’m imagining it in a high-gloss finish in an entry or a library. After all, it’s only paint. Take a risk and go for it!

LADY Wonderwall 8546 Local Green

This tasteful hue of green is sure to set an eclectic setting at home. With greenery and Biophilia still being big trends this year, this muted green can be used as a neutral or statement accent for walls.

This gender-neutral colour is the perfect choice for people who do not want their home to feel extreme.

LADY 20142 Daydream

Amidst all the dark colours, how can this beautiful shade of muted plum fall behind? Perfect for creating an accent wall with intriguing art, Daydream brings out the beauty of designs.

Go matte or satin, whatever you prefer, but make sure you make good use of this eye-catchy trend.

Even though I always keep a keen eye on trends I do believe in timeless over trendy.

I think people will always prefer more timeless hues like these from Jotun, Lady and we’re definitely seeing a trend toward rich, moody hues for the years to come.
