Supplies for Farmhouse Style Wood Truck Sign

Cricut Maker
Cricut Knife Blade
Cricut Strong Grip Mat
Basswood
Iron-on, White
Cricut EasyPress
Masking or painters tape
Paint for truck and hearts (I used Colorshot the truck in Summer Pedicure and Shark for the tires)
Hot glue or glue dots

Instructions:

Open the truck design found HERE. Adjust the size as necessary to fit your sign. Securely place your Cricut basswood on the StrongGrip mat, and tape around the edges.

Click on Make It. Select Basswood from the materials list and make sure your Knife Blade is inserted.

I keep an eye on my machine while it’s cutting but I also do other things while it cuts. It takes about 25 minutes for the design to cut out. Sometimes you need to brush away small slivers of wood so they don’t get in the way.

Carefully remove the tape and remove the pieces you have cut out.

Cut out your white iron-on, weed and set aside.

Paint your truck pieces with spray paint or acrylic. Allow them time to dry.

Heat up your EasyPress and follow the instructions for iron-on on wood found on Cricut’s Heat Press Guide HERE.

Use hot glue or glue dots to attach your truck and hearts to the sign. You’re all set!
