Glisten 10″ Quilt Block Pattern
The Glisten quilt block pattern is a free pattern for a 10″ star quilt block. It is block eight in the Riley Blake Designs Quilt Block Challenge.
Block 8 in the 2024 Riley Blake Designs quilt block challenge is a unique star quilt block designed by Jill Finley of Jillily Studios.
One of my favorite things about the Riley Blake block challenge is seeing how many different ways there are to make a star quilt block! Star quilt blocks are some of my favorite quilt blocks. The shapes and angles make for such interesting patterns. They are also great if you love to fussy cut your fabrics since most feature a large center square.
At the beginning of the challenge, I decided to fussy cut as many of the fabrics in my blocks as possible.
For this block, I fussy-cut the center, the cow print from Tulip Cottage, and the four pink squares surrounding it.
Can you spy the tiny bunnies in the corners of those pieces?

Block Fabrics: Tulip Cottage by Riley Blake Designs. Pink Cow, Blue Cow, Green Tulip Dot, and Pink Stitches fabrics.
Background Fabric: White Sparkler by Riley Blake Designs.
Size before Finishing: 10 1/2″ x 10 1/2″.
