Halloween Bottle Flip

Halloween Bottle Flip is the best class Halloween party game for any age that loves to flip bottles, but is especially great for those who find another game of BINGO to be boring. Kids love it and adults love it because it only needs a few supplies to pull together – and chances are you already have everything you need in your house.

Supplies

  • Halloween Bottle Flip Game Printables (find at the bottom of this post)
  • Water bottles
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Step 1:

Print out the Halloween Bottle Toss printables. Cut out the bottle labels and the target mats. We would recommend printing the mats on cardstock, or laminating to be sure they can hold up to 20+ kids using them.

Step 2:

You’ll want to open your bottles of water and pour some out. The moving water is what makes bottle flipping possible. Attach the bottle labels to your water bottles. You can take off the original bottle wrapper or put this right over the top, the kids are not going to care.

Step 3:

Attach the bottle labels to your water bottles. You can take off the original bottle wrapper or put this right over the top, the kids are not going to care.

How to Play Halloween Bottle Toss:

Divide players into 5 teams. Depending on your class size, teams may be made up of individuals or teams of up to 5. Assign each team a color and give them their bottle and target. If playing on teams, each toss will need to be made by a different player to ensure everyone on the team gets a turn.

There are a few options (and we’re sure the kids will think of more). One way is to set a timer and have the kids see how many points they can earn in a couple of minutes. Be sure to let them know the point values are printed on the bottle before they start so you don’t have to answer that questions over and over. Or, instead of playing for a set time you could have them play for a set point amount – the first person to get that point amount wins.

Another way, is to let each team have 5 tosses and add up the those points to determine a winner. If in team, make sure a different kid flips each turn..

You could offer candy for the winner, or just let them have the satisfaction of knowing they are the best bottle flipper in class! Let us know if you use it and how much the kids love it!
