Reklame Fiskars – DIY Christmas Wreath with Dried Flowers
In collaboration with FISKARS I’m inviting you all to make this holiday season less stressful and much more fun and festive. Sound good, huh?
Therefore we’ve got you covered this season. From DIY ornaments, to modern table decorations and even showstopping holiday wreaths, there’s something here for just about everyone.
The Classic Scissors
Making a holiday wreath with dried flower wreath is really easy! It’s a great craft to do with kids, with friends, or by yourself, and it gives you another use for all those beautiful flowers.
Not yet feeling the festive spirit? Try making your own floral decorations. I’ve got a helping hand from FISKARS and my best friend, the oh-so Classic Scissors.
You can’t go wrong by grabbing the Orange-handles Scissor.
Yes, you’ve got exactly the right tool to make this holiday season cheerful and creative!
So today you’ll get the tutorial on how to make this easy, DIY Dried Flower Wreath. You can use it both as decorations or why not make mini versions and use them as placards for your holiday table?
DIY Dried Flower Holiday Wreath Tutorial
Supplies:
Brass hoop, various sizes
Glue-gun
Step 1.
Use the floral tape to attach the two brass hoops together like pictured.
Step 2.
Wrap small bundles of flowers with floral tape. The floral tape will prevent the fragile dried stems from breaking when using the wire.
Step 3.
Wrap small bundles of flowers onto the base of the hoops by looping the wire until the stem feels secure.
Step 4.
Continue to add bundles of flowers to the large brass hoop.
Step 5.
Trim the ends with the scissors as you go along
Step 6.
Add flowers with more movement and when you’re finished with your design – lastly trim all visual excess ends off again.
I’ve done half of the wreath but you can definitely continue all the way around but I like this simple look.
Dried flower wreaths make a thoughtful gift or a great decoration for a holiday party or gathering.
Making it yourself gives it that personal touch that makes us all feel great, right?
I just love the colors in this wreath so much! There’s something special about the colour pops from the dried flowers, right?
And whether you use this inside or out, this colourful take on a DIY Dried Flower Wreath will really dress up whichever space it’s in!
