I’m always on the lookout for new origami projects to try and as summer is now officially here I thought I’d combine the two and try my hand at a paper ice cream cone or two. As I make a lot of crafts for the blog it always makes a nice change to make something just for fun.

Summer Craft Activities.

Did you see my Free Summer Calendar Printable I shared the other day? I designed it to be used to track all those summer activities at a glance but I think it would also make a fantastic craft project planner?

For sunny afternoons in the garden, you could try origami waterbombs or paper cups to use for snacks or drinks (but only if you’re quick 😉). And for the rainy days when you’re stuck indoors make one of the slightly more complicated oyster shells or maybe an origami octopus or shark with the kids.

You could jot down a new craft to try each day or week and cross them off as you. You can find it here. I’m off to print out another copy right now!
